After a wonderful 24 hours in Venice, culminating in a delicious post-concert meal after the concert to celebrate (belatedly) Johnny's 30th birthday, we're now back to London for a couple of nights at home, before continuing our brief tour of Italy!In the last 48 hours or so, we've been listening hard to the first edits of the tracks we've recently recorded for our GOLD 50th disc. Nigel Short (former KS 2nd Countertenor and director of Tenebrae) has done a terrific job in trying to bring out the best in our sound during our recording sessions, so now that we're hearing some of the fruits of our labours, as well as the fact that it contains some of our favourite KS songs ever, it's really very exciting to think about the CD being released later this year!In the meantime, I'm looking forward to a game of squash this afternoon - time to burn off some of that Italian pizza and pasta which I've been feasting on in Florence and Venice over the last few days...!
