We're heading home today after a great weekend at Les Rencontres internationales de Choeurs d'hommes à la Vallée de Joux. As Chris mentioned in his blog on Friday, we've been treated to some great Swiss hospitality, and have had the chance to hear some other groups sing. In addition to the choir of Jesus College, Cambridge, and our Italian friends, Voceversa, vocal groups from Belgium and Bulgaria have joined the host men's choir from the Vallée de Joux for a weekend of song.Today we head home for a couple of days before travelling to Germany on Friday for our next concerts in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, followed by stops in Echternach in Luxembourg, and the Swedish town of Västra Karup. Between now and then we won't be idle. Tomorrow we have a rehearsal day with Patrick. I get to sit and listen for a day, which will be fun, and the following day, while I mow the lawn (weather permitting), the new line-up will be photographed for new publicity photos.
