We've reached the end of a great Far East trip, with stops in China, Taiwan and Japan. Over the last 10 days we have travelled great distances across Japan to perform in 9 venues. We have mainly used the remarkable Japanese rail network, and in particular the Shinkansen bullet trains. Thanks to our tour manager, Kato-San, everything has been so easy, despite the number of concerts. This is my last trip to this amazing part of the world with the KS, but I hope I'll be back soon. Along the way I have been touched by the comments from people talking about my retirement, and have had some wonderful gifts to help me remember my trips to the Far East. I'd like to thank everyone who's made the trip so memorable, including the teams at Tempo Primo, and Harrison Parrott, not forgetting Claire and Nicola at Music Productions. This is also my last long trip with the KS, so I won't be needing my large suitcase for a bit, which is good because it's lost two of its four wheels over the course of the tour. It'll be heading off to the menders to restore it to its full four-wheeled glory. In the meantime I'm looking forward to a bit of time to recuperate before the next concerts in Switzerland next week.
