Thank you to everyone for the last few days!

So, what an incredible few days it's been! It's hard to believe that these days have come and gone....I'm sure you've read in various blogs by the chaps that we enjoyed our time at Chelmsford Cathedral on Friday night. It was a huge amount of fun for me to sing with the Cathedral Choir and especially for the encore, The Gift to be Simple, in which all members of The KS went to stand in their respective parts in amongst the Cathedral Choir. It was really poignant to be surrounded by all these choristers, as 25 years ago I would have been just like them! The day after was truly wonderful too. Gemma looked beautiful and it was no less special seeing her in her wedding dress for the second time! Walking down the aisle to the other 5 chaps singing is something that I simply won't ever forget. I rarely get a chance to hear what the group sounds like from the perspective of the audience and it is simply stunning. THANK YOU CHAPS! The service was wonderful and it was fantastic to see so many of our friends and family there to celebrate the day with us. Gemma's parents had come all the way over from NZ and one of my mother's sisters and two of her three daughters, had made the trip over from America. We had friends from Amsterdam, Switzerland and Spain who had also made the huge effort to travel, so thank you all so much!! A big thank you to my mother too for doing so much to make the day run smoothly and for the beautiful flower arrangements in the Cathedral.Lunch was really yummy and it was very kind of the sun to make an appearance towards the end of our time here, so people could get some fresh air and enjoy the Essex countryside. Here's a pic of Gemma sharing a moment with all of The KS. What a truly memorable day! Thank you to everyone who was involved in making our wedding blessing such a lovely occasion - we're very fortunate to have such incredible friends and family.
