St Albans, UK

Just a quick one today - I hope you're all well.We get to spend time in some amazing buildings on our travels. Today happens to be my 29th birthday, and I can't think of many more amazing settings that St Albans Cathedral to enjoy it in. People have been so kind: I've already had happy birthday sung to me three times, cake brought, champagne gifted, and lots of unnecessary kindness to top it all off. I feel very lucky. The next week is all in the UK. It will have been two weeks between plane journeys, which I think is the longest I've been in the last five years without a trip to Heathrow. But I won't complain. We'll be off to North America with our next flight, to some extraordinary places, including Yellowknife. For those of you who don't know where Yellowknife is, it's the capital of the Northwest Territories. it's more than a two-hour flight north of Calgary, and it's going to be impossibly cold. After that, we're heading on to Florida and California. I'm not yet sure how I'm going to pack for the trip.... If you have ideas, please let me know.Anyway, I must go and rehearse. Speak soon!
