Well, touring in Spring certainly has its benefits. It's that much lighter first thing in the morning (what's that I hear you say? Chris B getting up for breakfast? Yes, it has been known to happen...) and in the evening, although we're predominantly singing during the dusk hours. This morning we had a soundcheck and got used to the acoustics and balancing with the Württembergische Philharmonie. It's been a few months since our last orchestral GAS show so it's lovely to hear those arrangements and to do our best crooner impressions (well I'm certainly trying my best Rat Pack impersonation!) whilst looking devilishly British! The concert I've been looking forward to the most is the one coming up in Berlin on Wednesday. It features some classic Comedian Harmonists repertoire, which we don't get a chance to perform very often. One of my favourite arrangements in our library is Tea for two and it'll be my first time performing it with piano so I can't wait!Right, well I need to go and digest our very positive meeting about plans for 2018. Hope to see you all at a concert soon,Bis dann!
