We’re sad to report that first countertenor Patrick Dunachie has not been able to travel out with the group this week to begin their Asia tour.

Having been unwell for a while, Pat was diagnosed with pneumonia by his doctor earlier this week, and was advised against any travel or work while he recovers. He has begun treatment and is recuperating at home.

Pat says:

I am so sad not to be out in Asia with my colleagues this week. I've been looking forward to this trip for so long, and I know how much I will be missing out on some wonderful concert halls, food and fans. I know that my five colleagues will give wonderful performances without me, but I am truly disappointed not to be out there with them. In eight years with the group, this is my first time having to miss a concert, but I am resting, medicating and trying to get better as fast as I can in the hope of re-joining my colleagues as soon as possible.
