2022 is well and truly underway with a recording session for a new album. We were joined by Fretwork viol consort in the beautiful surroundings of St Bartholomew’s Church on the Suffolk coast for three wonderful days of renaissance polyphony by William Byrd and Thomas Weelkes. 2023 marks the 400th anniversary of their deaths, and we’re especially excited to share some pieces that have never been recorded before. While in Orford we made a trip to the castle and sampled the incredible local fish. We finished off with a trip to Lavenham, the town used as the film location for Godric’s Hollow in the Harry Potter films, and got to see the house which they used as Harry’s childhood home!On to King’s College, Cambridge, to sing for a private party, and now it’s time for some rest before heading to Belgium, and a busy schedule of concerts into February. We're hoping to release the new album at the start of 2023, so watch this space for details…[caption id="attachment_11304" align="alignleft" width="400"]
