Tonight we have our first performance at the NCPA, a magnificent building that truly is worth Google imaging!We are touring our Postcards programme which has been well-received around the world. I think people enjoy hearing songs, both traditional and modern, from countries far and wide. It's a taste of that country's culture in many ways; an insight into their daily lives, in some cases.I have a mate in China, Yu Hao Ming, who took me out to lunch today. It's always nice catching up with old friends around the globe. In this case, it's a link back to NZ where we went to high school together and sang in various choirs, until he moved back to China some years back.China is possibly the first place I came to as a member of The King's Singers where I felt like a bit of a rock star, in a funny kind of way. The cheering and applause is almost like no other place I've been to, and the signing queues afterwards are extensive!We've been coming here for the past few years so it's really nice to meet our fans again and I hope they enjoy the show as much as we will!See you soon!
