Madrid to Dresden via Prague

The Spanish weather gods were smiling on us in Salamanca yesterday. In fact the Czech ones are grinning today as well. Let's hope the German ones are, too! Looking out the plane en route from Madrid to Prague and seeing snow-capped peaks underneath blazing sunshine was just lovely!Tonight we have a rather interesting performance, not one of the usual suspects in two halves. It's three small brackets of around 30 mins spread out across three performance spaces over a few hours in Dresden's Hygiene Museum, a rather different venue from last night's beautiful surroundings of La Capilla de Fonseca, part of the University of Salamanca. The first two brackets feature music from The Great American Songbook and the third features contemplative settings by Duruflé, Brahms, Reger, Saint-Saëns, Bairstow, Sullivan and Tavener, by which time it'll be nearly midnight! It's all go at the moment, gearing up for our tour to Asia. We have some exciting news which we'll remain tight-lipped about until nearer the time!Anyway, hope to see you soon. Bye for now!
