Yesterday we returned from Madrid, where we performed at the Auditorio Nacional. I was told by the other guys how warm and welcoming Spanish audiences could be, and they were proven right by the lovely crowd on Saturday night! It was particularly great to see so many young people in the audience, many of whom sang in choirs and a cappella groups themselves. Before the concert, we did a live-stream on Facebook, where we talked about all things 'Christmas' and took some questions from fans; it was a lot of fun and you can watch it here! Now we are in the middle of a free day at home. As Christmas programmes fast approach, many of us are working on the Christmas Songbook repertoire which we will take to the United States next month. We are also preparing for our next three days of recording, tomorrow until Thursday. I'm learning fast how important it is to pace yourself in recording sessions - by the end of the day, one has done a good 5 or 6 hours of singing, so it's important to rest in between sessions, and stay well-hydrated, so that your voice remains at the best possible quality throughout the recording!I hope you are all keeping warm on these cold days. See you soon!
