Hey all! How is everybody? So today was a momentous occasion indeed! Today is our ACTUAL 50th anniversary! Amazing to think that 50 years ago to the day, the original 6 members were getting ready to go on stage at The Queen Elizabeth Hall on London's Southbank. To mark this momentous day we wanted to do something a bit different - something that paid homage to the group's amazing longevity but also something that looked forward to the next 50 years. We thought that this would be a perfect time to collaborate with our friend, Felix Faire. He was introduced to the group over 2 years ago as a University friend of Julian's - please read all about him here, he's very talented indeed:http://felixfaire.comThe collaboration was an amazing success and the selected audience of former members, our management, Patrons of the group, members of our UK Foundation and our US King's Singers Global Foundation, wives/girlfriends and many other wonderful people were present to see and hear this short, 1-hour concert. Please check out our Facebook page for more info from today and we'll also be posting some video footage of today's concert online - keep your eyes peeled! There was a huge amount of work that went into today from so many people - so thank you all, so, so much! It was a true honour to sing in front of a home crowd on our actual birthday - yet another amazing memory to store away in my memory bank! It's getting rather full with all these incredible GOLD celebrations!!Toodle-oo for now....
