Hi everyone! No time for a sleep in today as lots of wedding admin to sift through without forgetting obviously about some KS work too!We leave for Italy tomorrow for concerts in Erba and Verona and I'm thoroughly looking forward to performing with my colleagues in front of one of the most enthusiastic audiences in the world! A close second on the excitement gauge is how much we're all looking forward to the stunning drive from Erba to Verona on Thursday. We'll hopefully have a chance to stop off for lunch so that we can take in the beautiful surroundings. It's going to be really fun to sing some of our Trionfo di Dori repertoire with Julian, too. As you know we recorded the entire set earlier this year and they are simply fabulous pieces. It will be wonderful to sing them to a home crowd as well!Ok, sorry but must dash back to the admin now, but before I go, here are some pics from last week.....
The lower 4 voices rehearsing Camille Saint-Saëns' wonderful Serenade d'Hiver at the Bela Bartok National Concert Hall in Budapest. What a stunning building.
This was our view from stage at the Teatro Real in Madrid. What a huge honour it was to sing in front of Her Majesty the Queen Sofia of Spain and Her Royal Highness Princess Irene of Greece.
Chris G's Movember efforts seems to be going an awfully lot better than the rest of ours!
The magnificent Christuskirche in Hannover where we sang on Sunday evening.
We had the huge pleasure of singing a few pieces with the Hannover Girls' Choir. They really do make the most marvellous sound and a fun time was had by all!!
Here we are - the three Mo Bros. Check out this link if you fancy donating to this worthy cause or just to find out more about Movember - http://us.movember.com/mospace/network/view/id/41033
