Good afternoon everybody!So we have a week at home now to rest up after a very busy few weeks/months! Last night we had a fun visit to Phyllis Court in Henley, where we performed a couple of years ago. It was our first Christmas programme so far and it was so lovely to sing such festive music once again! Throughout the programme we included repertoire from our recent Christmas Songbook album (https://www.kingssingers.com/products/christmas-songbook/). It's been fun getting to grips with these brilliant arrangements - of course we've recorded them already, but there are always things that change from the way you need to perform them in live concerts - dynamics, tempo markings etc are all facets of the performance which need to be re-considered.So this week I'll be under two things: dirty nappies and a pile of KS admin! It's going to be wonderful to spend some time with Gemma and little Harry as it's been really tricky recently to have quality time with them as our KS schedule has been so busy with performances and recordings.
