London, UK

It's a grey, drizzly day in London, and I'm using this free morning to get lots of admin work done - which for me mainly involves social media, sponsorship work and announcements at the moment!Chris B and I are running a KS workshop at Royal Holloway later with the fantastic Chapel Choir there. Looking forward to hearing some smaller ensembles within the choir, and working with them on various ensemble skills. It's always a real pleasure to get stuck into the educational side of what we do, but a particular pleasure with university students since they are on the cusp of going out into the world and becoming professional singers. Also particularly with Royal Holloway, as we have an ongoing working relationship with them during our three-year-long musical residency there, so it's great for us to see how the choir goes from strength to strength and how its members develop during their time there. Takes me back to my time at university - some of the busiest but most rewarding years of my life!
