Me and Mum at her birthday brunch!

Me and Mum at her birthday brunch![/caption]Hello all!Well today is my mother's birthday. She arrived in London yesterday and we are spending the today together as well. It's such a rarity to have this time so we are going to make the most of it. We're just about to leave for a spot of brunch....Our brief trip to France was wonderful - singing such incredibly powerful repertoire, in the form of Gesualdo's Tenebrae Responsories, in one of the most beautiful European cities - Bordeaux.I'm really looking forward to singing the GAS repertoire with orchestra again in Potsdam this Saturday. It will be Julian's first time singing with us and orchestra and these shows certainly have a different 'feeling' to normal a cappella ones. Also looking forward to hearing orchestral classics like Elmer Bernstein's The Magnificent Seven and Gershwin's An American in Paris. I'm certain that the German Film Orchestra (directed by Jules Buckley) will do a fine rendition of these timeless classics....Right, off for some eggs benedict!Toodle-oo!!
