Hi everyone!
Long time no blog...
It's been an awesome week in Kings's-Singers-Land. We started off with two days of recording up in a church in North London. This was Eddie and my first album, and I'm really excited to hear the first edits when they come through! Not just because they're the first tracks we will have recorded with the group, but also because they're amazing tracks.
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to give away too many details on the songs, but it's fair to say it'll be a signature King's Singers mix of beautiful, wonderful, bizarre, and utterly cool. There were a couple of new languages in there for me too, which were great fun to try and get my chops around!
Then it was time for some music video action, with an amazing guy called Stewart French, who has a particular style of one-take-shots. I personally don't totally love watching videos of myself, but an exception can be made in this case, as the beautiful setting of Temple Church in central London will hopefully make for a very atmospheric video.
Anyway, I can't wait for you all to hear and see snippets of our work this week! Now I'm off to Rome ahead of our concert in Grosseto on Sunday! Pass me a Gelato, per favore!
