I don't know why it is, but I always seem to end up writing my blog from 'London, UK' - it's not like we are short of international travel, but somehow I reckon I end up with more London blogs than the rest of them. Anyway never mind, I enjoy telling you all what I've been up to at home; particularly when it's been as lovely a weekend as it has been for me just now!At the end of last week, we had a great day of rehearsals with Eddie and Nick, who are preparing to step into The King's Singers in January to begin their (I'm sure long and illustrious) careers in the group, followed by a group shopping trip -- you can imagine what that's like! Then I whizzed up to Scotland, where Ellie's sister got married on Saturday. It was great to see my future sister-in-law tie the knot with her lovely husband Rob, and it was also great to be able to do my bit by singing a song at their ceremony. We invited Bruiser up too, as he loves Scotland and kindly also offered to sing, and I dusted off my pianistic skills to accompany him. It was a really great occasion, and I think Bruiser enjoyed himself too. There's a photo of the two of us preparing to dance, which I don't think the internet needs. But if you want to see it, you can ask me (or him) in person. Instead, here's a very tame photo of Ellie and me at the happy occasion. We've got a few more days clear now, although tomorrow is photoshoot day with the new line-up, then we'll be back on the road next week with some more European touring, before preparing for my first ever trip to Estonia later in the month, for which I'm very excited.
