London, England

So, it’s only 9 am and I’ve already been up for 5 hours! It was an early start; my car is being repaired so I had to get the bus to Heathrow this morning. I stayed with my grandparents, so that my wonderful granny could give me a lift to the bus stop this morning.

Yesterday was a great day spent at home. I spent time playing with our adorable new puppy, Daisy. In case you haven’t seen her, have a look at my Instagram. She is a beautiful labradoodle, and it is already clear that she has a beautiful temperament (and intelligence, phew)! I had some quality time with my mum, and enjoyed a delicious lunch she cooked for me. It is lovely being spoilt and given some motherly TLC!

We are off to Munich for two concerts in Fürth, Germany and Graz, Austria. We are performing our programme, Royal Blood, which explores the music and poetry of Tudor England and its relationship to the Kings and Queens of the Renaissance era. It is one of my favourite programmes, as it reminds me of my wonderful years as a chorister, including my time as a Gentleman of Her Majesty's Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace.

The next few weeks involve lots of travelling, a radio appearance, some important meetings and the start of my first tour to Asia! Exciting times :-)

See you soon,

Eddie
