London-Dusseldorf

Here we are at the start of 2017, and we began with a rather special event at King's College where we celebrated King's Singers both present and former, along with most of our wives and some close friends. And what a feast it was!Now we find ourselves back in the swing of rehearsing and touring, and this month sees us enjoying four rather neat pairs of concerts around Europe, followed by a jaunt up to Durham Cathedral - one of my favourite buildings in the UK.The Christmas holiday was a welcome break, allowing plenty of fun times with the children and a quick ski trip, as well as reaching out to some KS friends to continue fundraising for next year's projects. There's a lot planned, as you'll all know by now, and we hope to keep everything on track by ensuring we're able to fund all of our ideas. So far, it's going well.Other than that, this term will see the completion of our triple-disc album, our return to South Africa after an absence of some 20 years, and a collaboration with the great clarinettist, Sabine Meyer. Here we go!
