Hello again everyone,We're still in lockdown here in the UK, but the rules are easing very slowly, which is great! Tomorrow I can make what the government is calling a 'double bubble' with my boyfriends household, which means I can actually give him a hug for the first time in about three months :-) Yippee! In my house, we have been doing a little family bake off to keep ourselves entertained. It has been really fun, and made for a great treat on a baking day. The result is yet to be announced as my Dad has only just done his bake (late as usual!): I can smell the chocolate chip cookies as I type! The entries have been as follows:1) Bertie: Bakewell Slices2) Stuart: Orio Cheesecake3) Diane: Butterfly Cakes4) Mum: Viennese Biscuits5) Me: Vitoria Sponge6) Dad: Chocolate Chip CookiesI must say, I am very grateful to my family as every single bake has been made gluten-free; I am a coeliac you see! I know that some of them were nervous (and reluctant) to risk the success of their bake on the contrary-nature of gluten-free flour! But they have all been yummy. Let me know on my instagram which is your favourite from the list above :-) I'm going to go and steal a corner of cookie now so...Until the next time, and keep safe,EddieInstagram: @edwardbutton1
