Within the last ten days we have performed a plethora of varied programmes.We started in Finland singing a run of four Great American Songbook concerts at the end of October. These are interesting as the mix of gentle amplification, lighting and stage choreography make a different kind of performance altogether. One of our favourite venues, and arguably one of the best in the world, is the Musiikkitalo in Helsinki where we performed on 26th October.To contrast with this completely, we performed a new programme of Psalm settings on Sunday in Dresden’s (very special) Frauenkirche.
