Good morning everybody! How are we all??I'm very pleased to say that my nasty virus has subsided and I'm on the mend. Woopee! It's nice to feel semi-human again. So after a day of education yesterday, teaching at the Fine Arts Center here in La Crosse (which was a huge amount of fun), we have our GOLD show in the same venue. These anniversary programmes are going really well, I'm pleased to say - the audiences have been incredibly responsive - enjoying thoroughly both the older KS rep and also our brand new commissions. It's always an interesting experience singing the world premiere of a piece. We spend a long time crafting the performance to make it as accessible as possible for the audience and we're always confident that the crowd will enjoy it as much as we do. I think it's pretty obvious when you see performer's who look as though they're not enjoying what they're doing on stage! So only a week to go (to the hour, almost!) until I'll be walking through the front door to see Gemma and Harry. Wowzers - I can't wait to see them both! Hopefully Harry will still recognise me!!Toodle-oo for now....
