I'm not sure I've spent so much time in Scandinavian and Nordic countries in such a short period, but I'm getting used to it! It's been great to visit Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark (briefly) and now Finland so far this season. It'll be good to have a week off next week, though, which happily coincides with part of my children's Half Term break.Recently we've started to up the pace on our preparations for 2018, thinking about how to market the group and deciding what to record and perform during the landmark year. We had the pleasure of performing at Lord's Cricket Ground in London, in the presence of Brian Kay, Al Hume and Bill Ives, and spent time discussing stories and thoughts about the group's history with them. There is a wealth of information and memory out there amongst former members and we're determined that the story of 50 year of the KS will be told in part through their recollections. It does feel rather special to be part of a group that is still going strong after such a long time!Of course you, the fans, will also have a big part to play. We'll be in touch later in the process to ask you for your thoughts, stories and ideas to throw into the mix for publication both online and in print. We're nothing without an audience, so get your thinking caps on!
