Hello everyone,My goodness me it's warm here. I liken it to the feeling of sitting in front of a fan oven at 200 degrees celsius…only, imagine being in the oven! What a great time we've had in Qatar though. It's been a first time for me which is always exciting! Going down to the souq to explore the various stalls and see all sorts of weird and wonderful things was terrific! I love Middle Eastern cuisine so it's been great to taste the local delicacies and I can't wait to come back! Hopefully it won't be as long as the four years it's been since our previous visit. Fingers crossed…So it's onto an overnight flight via Dubai all the way to Manila. Again, a new place for me to tick off my list. I know little about the choral scene in The Philippines other than that there is a great deal of music making going on and there always seem to be a good representation of Filipino choirs at the World Choir Games every time it rolls around. It'll be great to meet the local singers and hear them sing to us.See you soon,Chris
