Chelmsford, UK

Last concert: Shanghai. Today's concert: Chelmsford. That's just how we roll in The King's Singers; a global audience reached every year, and it's great to have a concert on home soil.I have to admit to being a little bit tired, what with a month-old baby keeping me awake at night, but there's something very energising about a new baby so I feel pretty good, all things considered. There's nothing better than a concert to get the endorphins going!Today we're performing the first of five UK concerts over the next 8 days, giving us the chance to promote our forthcomingA Carol for Christmas competition as well as working with some great choirs along the way.Today it's the turn of Chelmsford Cathedral Choir, and we're performing Bob Chilcott's wonderful cycle "Even such is time" amongst other pieces. It's all a great reminder that music is there to be shared, and often the best results come through collaboration with other musicians. We have a summer term full of joint projects, and that's very exciting indeed!
