Hello all!So an early flight back to London can mean only thing - me in my dressing gown and slippers back at home doing the wonderful task of KS admin! Our off-stage KS life is certainly very busy - a side of the job which no one obviously sees but it's all the 'stuff' that happens behind the scenes which makes being a King's Singers a more than full-time job!We leave on Thursday for a 5-concert tour of Germany and Switzerland with the CHAARTS ensemble. In these shows we'll be doing some of our collaborative Great American Songbook (GAS) pieces which is always good fun. I've really been enjoying our close harmony sets recently in which we've combined both GAS pieces and also repertoire from our Postcards album. The two seem to form an interesting mix of genres and languages and the audiences seem to respond well to these sets which is always nice! If you're yet to hear tracks from our Postcards album, give this link a click and check it out!https://www.kingssingers.com/products/postcards-cd/Toodle-oo....
