It's been lovely to have a bit of time at home after the trip to North America. I haven't been entirely idle, though. On Wednesday Chris B and I visited Royal Holloway to work with the choral scholars' small ensembles. As ever it was so lovely to hear their singing. Last week also saw the release of our latest recording - How fair thou art - Biblical Passions by Palestrina. The repertoire for this combines Palestrina's sublime settings of texts from the Songs of Songs with four of his works in praise of the Virgin Mary.Today we head to London for a meeting, followed by a rehearsal and a visit to BBC Radio 3 for their live afternoon programme In Tune. If you listen in at around 5.30 pm (GMT) you can hear some of the repertoire from the new album. I'm looking forward to singing it again. Later this week we head to Italy (always a joy!) for three concerts, followed by a short trip to France for concerts in Paris and Versailles - it's a hard life!
